Wakefield College Gissing Building

Overview

The project involves the design and refurbishment of the existing Building ground floor to provide new teaching space for Wakefield College’s music department. The site currently comprises of a 2 storey 1970’s building consisting of teaching accommodation, plant rooms and storage.

Challenges

Tight time schedules to maintain the usual BAU for the college, staff and pupils. Efforts to minimise noise and disruption whilst teachers and student occupied the building were achieved

Health and Safety

The project was completed without RIDDOR accidents and there were no injuries to report during the entire construction process.
